Thank you for taking the time to learn about All Seasons Church and for considering how you might partner with what God is doing in Wendell, North Carolina. We have watched God faithfully lead our family every step of this journey.

For the last several years, church planting has remained quietly in the background of our lives. We knew God had planted the calling in our hearts, but we also knew His timing mattered. During a season of prayer and fasting, the Lord made it unmistakably clear that our assignment at our sending church was complete and that it was time to step into what He had been preparing us for all along: pastoring All Seasons Church in Wendell.

While leaving behind deep friendships, a church family we love, and familiar rhythms has been difficult, we have seen God's faithfulness in every step of obedience. Our prayer is that All Seasons Church would become a faithful gospel presence in Wendell/Zebulon. Where people in all seasons of life and faith can find and follow Jesus together and make a difference in our community.

Wendell is one of North Carolina’s fastest-growing communities. Young families, professionals, and people relocating from Raleigh and across the country are putting down roots; many without a church home or any kind of faith at all. While growth can bring opportunity, it can also bring isolation and spiritual disconnection.

Our Beliefs

These are the essential beliefs we hold as a church community. We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.

  • All 66 books of the Bible are God's Word. God inspired every part of it. It is true, without error, and gives us everything we need to know God and follow Him. It is our final authority for what we believe and how we live. (2 Tim. 3:16–17; 2 Pet. 1:20–21)

  • There is one true God. He created all things and rules over all things with wisdom and care. He knows everything; He is holy, just, and loving, and He is faithful to every promise He makes. All things exist for His glory. (Gen. 1:1; Ps. 103:19; Ps. 139:1–4; Isa. 6:3; 1 John 4:8; Rom. 11:36)

  • The one true God exists forever as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God and distinct. They are not three gods, and they are not one person playing three roles. They are one God, equal in power and glory. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:16–17; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)

  • Jesus is the eternal Son of God. All things were made through Him, and He holds all things together. He became a man and is fully God and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and lived without sin. He died on the cross in our place, paying for the sins of the world. He rose bodily from the dead and defeated death. He went back to the Father and will one day return in person. (John 1:1–3, 14; Col. 1:16–17; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 John 2:2; 1 Cor. 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11)

  • The Holy Spirit is fully God. He convicts the world of sin and points people to Jesus. He gives new life to everyone who believes and lives in every believer. He marks us as belonging to God and assures us that we are His children. He gives the church power for its mission, and He hands out spiritual gifts as He chooses so we can build each other up. (John 16:8, 14; Rom. 8:9–11, 16; Eph. 1:13–14; 1 Cor. 12:4–11)

  • Every person is made in the image of God and has real dignity and worth. Through Adam, sin entered the world, and all of us have sinned. We are born spiritually dead and separated from God, and we can't fix that on our own. (Gen. 1:26–27; Rom. 3:23; 5:12; Eph. 2:1–3)

  • Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. God makes the first move. He draws people to Himself and offers forgiveness and eternal life to everyone. All who turn from their sin and trust in Jesus' death and resurrection are forgiven, made right with God, and given new life. Salvation is a gift, not something we earn. (John 6:44; 12:32; Eph. 2:8–9; Rom. 10:9–10; Titus 3:5)

  • The church is the body of Christ, and Jesus is its head. It is made up of everyone who has been given new life by the Spirit and joined to Jesus by faith. The local church gathers regularly to worship, pray, hear God's Word taught, and practice baptism and the Lord's Supper. We grow together in community and are sent out on Jesus' mission to share the gospel, make disciples, and serve our neighbors. (Matt. 16:18; Eph. 1:22–23; Acts 2:42–47; Heb. 10:24–25; Matt. 28:19–20; Gal. 6:10)

  • Baptism is for people who have put their faith in Jesus. A believer is immersed in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It's a step of obedience and a public way of saying they belong to Jesus and share in His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism doesn't save anyone. It shows what God has already done, and it marks the start of a believer's life in the local church. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:41; Rom. 6:3–4; Col. 2:12)

  • Jesus gave the church the Lord's Supper. When believers share the bread and the cup, we remember His body given and His blood shed for us. We share fellowship with Him and with one another, and we proclaim His death until He comes back. (Luke 22:19–20; 1 Cor. 10:16–17; 11:23–26)

  • Prayer is how God's people depend on Him. We come to the Father through Jesus, with the help of the Spirit. We pray to worship, to confess sin, to pray for others, and to ask for what we need. God hears His people and answers their prayers. We pray with confidence for healing, for provision, for direction, and for more people to know Jesus. We trust His wisdom and timing with every answer. (Matt. 6:9–13; John 14:13–14; Rom. 8:26–27; Phil. 4:6–7; James 5:13–16)

  • Jesus will return in person. The dead will be raised, and every person will stand before God in judgment. Those who have trusted in Jesus will live forever with God in a renewed creation. Those who have not will face eternal punishment, separated from His presence. (Matt. 25:46; John 5:28–29; 2 Thess. 1:9; Rev. 20:11–15; 21:1–4)
